MAY 2007 Scooter Style Newsletter

Hello again!

I just realised that we haven’t done a newsletter since March! Sorry about the delay but here we are again. I hope this new method of delivering the newsletter suits everyone better – we are pretty sure it will. No big emails clogging up your inbox from now on.

Chrome addict - the mio 100cc scooter all fitted up.

Scott and Tom have been busy finding shiny bits to fit to your scooters – needless to say I have grabbed all the lovely shiny things for the Bolwell Mio and forced Scott to fit them to my scooter. Isn’t it pretty! Chrome transmission cover, chrome air filter cover and a beautiful chrome kick start.

We have more shiny things in stock now including chrome floor sections, replacement handlebar grips, chrome cup holders, very shiny front fork stabilisers, side spoilers. HID headlight kits and more….. And of course, Malossi and Gianelli products including exhaust pipes, rollers, mulitvars and more.

Work on the website is continuing. If you have logged on to www.scooterstyle.com.au lately you will see we now have lots of new and exciting bits!

A complete scooter showroom with photos and details of all the scooters we stock.

Scooter Pics - if you would like a photo of your scoot included, just drop into the shop and Scott or Tom will take your photo and put you on! Hmmm, why isn’t my newly blinged up Mio 100 on there yet!

Road Tests – Tom was lucky enough to road test the Firenze 250 and the new Gmax 250 in Melbourne during March.

Scooter Club – all the info you need to know about rides and what we have been up to. Check out the photos of our 30 April 2007 ride.

Scooter Style Newsletter Archives - Catch up on any newsletters that you may have missed in the past or revisit them for info that you may need in the future.

Tips for Scooting

This month’s tip – Keeping your scooter clean and shiny! (I seem to be developing a bit of a shiny theme here!)

In the shop we have a lot of scooters, which you have probably noticed already, and the hire scooters are always coming in and out – how do we keep them clean? Well, we never wash them with water – we don’t need, too. The two products we use to clean all our scooters are Motul Shine & Go and Motul Wash & Wax.

The cans seem to last forever and your scooter comes up a shiny treat after a run over with them. Shine & Go is great for general cleaning to make everything look shiny and new. Wash & Wax does the extra cleaning when your scooter is a bit dirty and not looking it’s best.

Remember though if your scooter is muddy or has grit on it, gently clean off the paint work with a warm wet cloth – no harsh wiping! Your paint work with thank you for your gentleness.

Scooter Style Support

If you have been in the shop lately, you will know that we are supporting the Cindy MacKenzie Breast Cancer Foundation together with Toyworld Noosa and Zinc 96.1FM.

Come into the shop or go to Toyworld Noosa and you can make a gold coin donation and receive an entry into the draw to win a Bolwell Mio 50 scooter (in pink, of course) valued at $3,290!! (Hmm… I also seem to be on a bit of a pink thing as well!) It will be drawn on Saturday 2nd June at Toyworld Noosa and Jamie Dunn and the Crew from the Zinc Morning Zoo will be there.

There will be a sausage sizzle and all sorts of things happening. You can also purchase wrist bands, ties, mouse mats, t-shirts and caps to show your support.

The Cindy MacKenzie Breast Cancer Foundation supports women and their families by providing assistance in many ways – practical, financial or emotional. More information about the Foundation is available on www.cmbcf.com.

Scooter Style Ride!!!!!!!!

There is a sausage sizzle happening and the Zinc Morning Crew will be there – so it should be a bit of fun! And we will be supporting a great cause.
